No, the truth is that it is very rare that you say the wrong thing, but when it does happen, you blow it all out of proportion and punish yourself with all kinds of critical–and completely false–self-talk.
You’re going to tell yourself every day for the next 21 days, “I am a graceful and poised person. I have the knack of doing the right thing in all situations.”
Remember, your subconscious believes whatever it is told. It’s been given all those negative messages all those years and it has believed them– regardless of how faulty they may be.
Usually 21 straight days of telling ourselves a certain message will be required before the subconscious really starts believing it.
